YOGA - TADASAN

Meaning: we stretch our body high &straight like tree of Tad in this Aasan, so it is named as Tadasan.

Method: First we have to stood up straight jointing the Ankle (heel) & toes of both legs, trying to stretch backside the shoulder & stretch the chest outside, further try to lift both hands stretching towards shoulder to fingers, then turn your palm direction towards the sky. Now try to stretch your hands maximum and feel the stretch in every joint in chest, shoulder, elbow, palm & fingers. Now with the help of inhaling maximum breath, try to lift both hands at the top of head, then lock your fingers of the hands &further direction of your palm should be turned towards the sky. Now try to stretch your hands toward maximum at upper side and synchronize your joints &backside. Now try to stretch the chest &keep the stomach inside & stretch your hands slightly more. Now keep this status eyes close for one minute & fully concentrate on stretching of your body (breath should be normal), then return to your original status &take rest.

Benefits: This asan is very fruitful &energetic due to stretching in whole body &blood circulation in every part of body. This is very helpful in joint pains , back pain, muscles, keeps the arms & legs strong & further very useful for curing of diseases of stomach &chest.

Precautions: The peoples who are having the complaint from vertigo, they should do this asan with the support of wall or lying on the floor, further the people who can not joint their fingers, they can do this asan stretching their fingers of the hands upper side.
